It is a great destination for those who'd like to do apple picking and have more fun in just one place. Suitable for large groups. Great family environment.

Kids areas

Decided to visit with family. Had a number of issues. First, it was quite overpriced especially compared to other farms. Two: Snobby employees with attitude. Three: bad refund policy. It started pouring in the afternoon, so naturally customers could not go to do apple picking under the heavy rain. Take bag those empty bags and refund customers, right? Well not so fast. Apparently, there is this no-refund policy that even if there's a storm or hail posing danger to people, they won't refund their customers. Bad business, stay away.

Kitchen

Holy lines! Went on a Saturday, which might have been our mistake, but it took 45 minutes to get in, and another half an hour to get on a wagon to go to the apple orchard. You can’t walk there either, or you get yelled at by a 16 year old. Apples were good, and there was a good assortment of activities, but definitely not worth the hassle.

This place may be little ways from the city, but it is worth it.

tricycle race

It was exactly as I expected. Spacious grounds. Lots of people but hay ride to orchard and other rides moved well. Okay food, typical fare for this type of place. However, water had to be purchased. There were no fountains to be found to refill water bottles. Considering the mark-up on some of the food items (donuts!), dispensing water via a fountain would be a nice gesture. Even providing vending machines for water purchase at a reasonable price would be appreciated. Needed to stand on line for 10 minutes or more to purchase water.

Besides the corn maze, apple orchard and the typical barn sale.

Zip lining

Plenty of parking space.

For a city slicker with a family, the overall experience is great. The apples straight from the tree always tastes better than those from the supermarket. Even later in the season there are always plenty of apples on the trees and they are one of the few orchards to offer Asian pears. Check to see what apples they have before you go. The rides and the corn maze are great for little kids and definitely make up a big part of the experience. My only quibble is the price. Every admission gets you a bag that holds 15 to 20 apples. For the price, it's expensive on a per apple basis. But you are paying for the whole experience, it's close to Chicago and so we keep coming back.

Donkey rides

and a great kitchen where you can get burgers, fries, donuts and many more items.
